whickers cat food change to hills natures best

Hi,

Im so glad i found this site, i have read a report about pet foods a while back and them not having no where near enough nutrition for our pets and that feeding left overs was a good way to give them that nutrition they needed....so being a little naive i fed what i thought was a good dry food..whiskers, i tried them with the wet whiskers but they always got bad tummies and found their tummies would only take the really cheap foods like home brand meat.....anyway along with this i gave them fresh white fish chicken and even put left over home made baby food as they seem to love it and they love a good chew on a pigs leg from the butchers

Ive noticed that every now and then one of the cats has been being sick through the night and i find lots of biscuits in it...

Ive been reading the threads about food and saw someone reccomended the zooplus website so i decided to have a look....and i must say i was impressed such a good choice, i studied all the ingredients and couldnt believe what i was feeding my cats at the moment....i placed an order straight away

Ive decided on the hills natures best is this a good choice???

Re: whickers cat food change to hills natures best

hi hun, am not too sure as Im new to this and dont have my cats yet but am deciding based on the advice on here that Applaws (branded as Encore for Sainsbuirys) and HiLife will be the ones I try for mine when I wean them off the Whiskas they are on at their current home. But a lot of people have mentioned Hills and Royal canin as very good on here too? if you have a look in the thread called something like 'best wet and dry food/ratios' its mentioned in there and there are several people here who are very knowledgable about feeding who will be able to answer better than me, sounds to me as tho them bringing up the biscuits means they are having trouble digesting them? then they lay on their stomachs and come back up -just a thought from when I had my last dog, but may be different with cats so will let them answer.

xxxxx
