Teething

My 14 week old kitten Leah has a puffy face around her mouth I was wondering if this is to do with teething?

Re: Teething

Ive not heard of the face puffing up she hasnt eaten some thing she shouldnt have or been bitten in any way. Have you any plants that may cause a problem i.e. lillies or bulbs. I would keep a eye and if no better in a day or so id take her to the vets to be on the safe side. She may have a small reaction to some thing.

Re: Teething

I don't think this is normal I think you should get her checked at the vet it does sound like reaction of some sort.

Re: Teething

I would definately get her checked out. None of my cats have ever had that problem.
Maybe she has been chewing something. Have you looked in her mouth to see if there is anything wrong.

Re: Teething

She cut her head a couple of weeks back but we trimmed the hair and cleaned it with salted water and it seems to be healing fine.

Don't really leave anything out that she could have eaten, or at least I try not to! Will ask OH.

Will see how she goes over night and see if I can book an appointment with the vets.

Thanks for advice!!!
