Unhappy Re: Help I Am Desperate

Just to let you know that my darling cat Fluffy joined her brother Maxi yesterday at 1.10 she seemed a lot better at the weekend and was eating out of a spoon on Monday and she ate a big breakfast and then at teatime she refused to eat i noticed some lumps in her throat and her eye looked worse. on tuesday am she only wanted 2 teaspoons of food and I realised she was very poorly. the ambulance came for her and the driver gave her a big cuddle then put her on my lap, she buried her face in my arms and let me cuddle her, the ambulance lady said 'she knows' she also told me that she was very very poorly. someone had been the night before and took one look at her and told me that she was dying.
in the end the vet put her to sleep. i am crying as i write this. it all is a nightmare. i have lost my 2 babies in under a month. now i am alone. last night i just hugged her blankets.
i feel so guilty i wasn't with her but it was decided it would upset her too much to to the hospital and come home again. the vet has just e mailed me the last photos they took of her and its broken my heart, she looks so ill and it looks so clinical.
i am crying and i just want to join them both.

Re: Help I Am Desperate

I am so so sorry that poor Fluffy lost her brave fight. How devastating for you to have lost both of your beloved companions in so short a space of time. You have my deepest sympathy which I think all here will share. As cliched as it is time does help to heal and you must not give in to your darkest despair. Please talk to us on this forum - we who have lost beloved pets understand your pain.
All my love and warmest thoughts ((((hugs)))) Lynn
