My kittens bottom

Hi everyone. Bit of an odd one but I don't really know what to do.

One of my little Tonks Bella is not cleaning her bottom properly - I can see how it is happening - when she sits down to clean herself, her tail covers up the top part of her bottom as she sits all crooked and she keeps missing it lol but she is sometimes a tiny bit squiffy and I don't know whether I should use some cottom wool to help her. My other little kitten Misty is fine but Bella just doesn't seem to get it right lol. She is always cleaning herself and is very clean cat but she just keeps missing a bit.

Any advice would be greatfully received.
Thanks

Re: My kittens bottom

Hi,

I would try and gently bath it with just cotton wool and warm water, I think some kittens have trouble getting used to positioning themselves on the tray, does she stand on the edge of the tray? If the litter is hard litter like gravel I find they don't like standing in the tray so stand on the edge making it more likely to get staining in the bottom area.

Izzie

She seems to go fine in the tray its more that she just isn't "washing" the area lol so she is a bit of a smelly bum hehehe. Bless her little cotton socks. I will use some cottom wool and warm water to keep her nice and squeeky clean.
