Re: Feeding Requirements - Advice please!

Unfortunately vets get very little training on correct nutrition for pets - and they are pressured by food manufacturers (dried food of course) to sell their products, so it's hardly surprising they recommend them. Dried food is useless at cleaning teeth - the only thing that really is good for that is raw bones (e.g. a chicken leg or wing) - that's if your cat will eat them (mine won't!)

This article makes an interesting and logical arguement to the contrary of what you have said there, and it is written by a vet Little Big Cat

Vets invariably push dry because they get commission on it. When have you ever seen a vets practice with a stand of wet food in the corner? If they did have such a thing then they would be pushing wet, not dry.

Feeding Requirement is depends on of your Cats Age & Weight. Here you will get Best Cat Food from Agritura. This Pet Stores Cat Food is well balanced with required ingredients. Cat Food label mentioned feeding instructions by Cats Age and Weight. My Cat very like this food.

very intersting article - thnaks - i feed mine mainly wet (hi-life, tesco finest etc) and a handfull of James Wellbeloved dry per day if they want it. I think i need to begin to introduce a little raw chicken wings etc for gum health etc.
