It really doesn't look like ringworm, it looks like some sort of allergic reaction to me. One of my cats gets sores like this under her neck, I think it's a food allergy but I haven't been able to identify the cause.
Anyway your best bet is to see a vet.

I bought a spot on wormer yesterday for Sam/Dee on vets recommendation because we need to do both asap to make sure that Sam's spat of sickness wasn't anything more sinister than teething/ripping his tooth out. Now a bit cautious about a reaction... :S
