Re: Kitten teething/illness? WORRIED PLEASE HELP
Sam ate quite well last night but has been very sick this morning compared to previously. So luckily I am off work ill today so have got him a 12pm appointment at the vets. Will let you know how I get on. x

Re: Kitten teething/illness? WORRIED PLEASE HELP
Ok well we are now home and -£75 lol So I have wormer (spot on) for him and Dee just incase (I am a bad mum, had forgotten to do Sam's, was only 2 weeks over and had bought the paste but then he was ill so didn't want to overload him).
Then some kalogel (or something like that) to soothe his tummy and have been told just boiled chicken/fish for a few days. Finally...we checked his teeth over the last few days and he seemed to be due to have adult teeth coming through. But today when the vet checked them...the little swine has managed to rip one of his front canine teeth out!!! It is swollen and sore looking which we think is what the new sickness and not eating is about. Only problem is the risk of infection and because it hasn't come out cleanly the root might have to be removed surgically. So antibiotics and need to see how it is looking in about 5 days/keep an eye on him. Came home and cleaned the sofa...found the tooth!! It look like quite a chunk is still in his gum so wait and see what happens I guess. Trust Mark's cat to be the expensive one ![]() Only question I have for you is do you think some skinless/boneless frozen pollock I have in the freeze would be ok for Sam? Haven't got any chicken but will go and buy some later. x
