Reaction to wormer

I wormed my rescue cat for the first time last night with a Drontal wormer and later that evening she developed the squits and there was blood in it. Is this something to be worried about, do i need to contact the vet.

Re: Reaction to wormer

I used a Drontal Roundworm and Tapeworm tablet supplied by the vet. I will see how she goes, but she seems ok now no further problems this morning.
