help me please

hi,
my parents' have a female pet cat. she is 15 yr.s old. she remained fine all these years. she is the centre of attraction of our family. few months back they noticed a lump over her abdomen. it was growing. i palpated that it was free from abdominal muscles, could be felt separately. there was no uleration or any sign of inflammation. few weeks back it burst open. it formed an ulcer with rolled out margin and slough at ulcer base. it is painless, constantly oozing a serous, sometimes bloody discharge. they are constantly applying different kind of antiseptic lotions and dressing it with surgical gauze regularly. bit it is getting bigger & bigger everyday. though she is maintaing her activities in spite of a such leison.
sorry to say in my part of the world stae of veterenary science is at very poor state. my parents live alone a very long distance form the city. she is their only friend. 15 yr. with us !! it's a lot of time. is it any kind of carcinoma? squamous cell carcinoma/ ca breast with fungating leison? i don't know whether these things can occur in a cat or not.
i need your help very badly. what should be the treatment surgery? thank you all. i have attached the pictures of the leison taken by a mobile camera.

Re: help me please

Hi There! I feel horrible as you are going through what i am right now.Is the cat licking or eating at the tumour if there is no dressing on it? Mine did.My cat's tumour is a bit farther up on the chest, but it looks like mammary cancer. My cat started with a lump(pea size)unattached to other tissue aswell, then grewlike in your picture.I understand about the seeping. It must be very stressful,as i am under constant stress with my minew. I use simple saline solution(drug store) and polysporin. It will get messy a bit, but it keeps it clean. We had to put a shirt on her because even with dressing because of where it is,she woul dig in the side of her front chest and make it bleed again. The shirt helps,it is light fabric and short sleeves(not tanktop)We removed the lump once it got bigger, but it came back twice the size a month later.Minew is 18 and looks like a kitten still. It has been 6 months since the surgery and we are starting to see the stress getting to her as the cancer takes a lot out of her.Putting the cat on a good diet of wet food(for Max moisture)like EaglePack or B.G before grain,or EVO(if no kidney concerns)it is high protien and will help her in this time.Switch slowly. Let me know of ANY questions you have as i've done it all with her. Let me know, and take care...
