Re: help please

they told me and gave me a card with dates from vets, shes had all bloods checked and micro chipped spayed and vaccinated, they do it before any cat is rehomed, i cant bellieve they missed it.

they open at 11 i will be calling them then and taking action after i have spoke to them

this i s a section from there website

"Upon being taken in by the charity all our cats go directly to one of our supporting vets for FIV/leukaemia blood testing and a general health check. This will include, or be followed by, any necessary veterinary treatment. The cats will be neutered and vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and micro-chipped. They will live at the homes of our volunteer fosterers while any necessary treatment continues and then when they are ready for rehoming they move to the Homing Centre in Market Weighton"

Re: help please

I do hope Kylie is ok. Not very good of the vet at the cat shelter if they missed her illness. Good luck with her and in dealing with the shelter.

Re: help please

my first thought was that is was cat flu and i brought it into the house where poppy is, but after talking with the shelter kylie has been vaccinated against it, they gave us 6moths pet plan when we took kylie home and a number of the vets they use,
we called the vets who said it sounds like and could be a stress reaction and because of the sneezing could of burst a blood vessle in the back of her nose /throat, so said we could take her along tonight at 6 and they will do a health check and sort everything out for us.

so thats it for now.

poppy still growling and spitting at everything so we are going to do the introduction to each other slowly when kylie gets better.

fingers crossed x
