Re: Kitten Food to Adult Cat Food
Kitten food normally has more nutrition than adult food, to support their growth. I'd keep her on kitten food until she's at least 6 months - unless the adult food you're planning to feed is a high quality wet food such as HiLife (or any other complete food with over 50% meat) - then just start feeding that immediately

Re: Kitten Food to Adult Cat Food
I have to agree with Coraline.
Kitten food is meant for kittens it has all the nutritional content they need to help them grow so I would keep on it for at least 6mths to a year. This is what most manufacturers recommend too. |

My ten month old kitten is still on kitten food both wet and dry, though she does get a special treat every now and again, so I think she'll be okay on kitten food a bit longer. I'll probably start introducing her to more adult food after Christmas.
