poor Freddy is poorly

he was very lethargic over the weekend, and seemed to have yellow 3rd eyelids wasn't jumping around at all, and didn't miaow for food - very unlike Freddy

the final straw was during the night - he didn't sleep on my pillow - the first time EVER that he's not. the only way he would settle down last night was when i put Tilly near him, so she snuggled up to him and groomed all his face - bless her cotton socks!

took him to the vets - it seems that it could be linked to his dodgy liver infection when he was 9 weeks old - so did a blood test. hopefully they'll call me tonight

for the time being, he's got antibiotics, and has been cuddled up with Tilly since dinner time (bless!)

she just called!!! yay!

right - blood test show normal liver function (phew!). but...blood count is down slightly so could be anaemic . she wanted to know how he's been since he got home, and unfortunately i could only tell her he's been asleep. the cutest thing is Tilly has stayed by him the whole time - she wakes up, looks at him, grooms him a bit then cuddles up again - i could cry as she's so cute! who knew what a clever 9 week old kitten she is she's been brave too today after having her 1st vac's.

the vet wants to do another blood test next monday to monitor the blood count, but i have to keep up with the anti b's for now and call if i'm worried at all.

such super vets! got a lovely compliment from them today too - told me how beautiful my cats were seperately and together - and they are glad they have me as their owner - i could have cried again (my god, what's wrong with me?! lol) they couldn't get over how loving they were to each other

thanks Kez - he's sleeping so soundly, and he looks really cosy snuggled with Tilly, so hopefully a good nights sleep will make all the difference.

thought we were going to have some action just then - he woke up and started gooming himself, then....went back to sleep!!! lol

Good news -Freddy is much more like himself today! not quite as boisterous, but certainly got a cheeky sparkle back - so happy

on a more potentially problematic note- i woke in the night to find not only Freddy asleep on my pillow, but Tilly too! Arghhhh!! lol. they looked so peaceful, had no choice but to leave them and make the most of my corner

think i'm going to have to get a bigger bed with their own pillow, as they are just going to get bigger lol
