Re: hmmm dilemma

I ordered 6 of each to try on mine - didn't want to risk it! Luckily they eat them all apart from Animonda Carny, which I'm getting them to eat by sprinkling thrive treats on the food so it doesn't go to waste. Favourites are Macs, Grau, Bozita pate and Smilla (which am phasing out as meat content has gone down)

Hope the new food goes down well for you!

Re: hmmm dilemma

I started with a small order of Bozita from Zooplus, which my lot couldn't get down their throats fast enough, so the next order was bulk.........and of course they wouldn't even look at it.

Buying in bulk makes sense, but sense and cats are not happy bedfellows

Re: hmmm dilemma

I also ordered Bozita which eventually went, there was a brief time when Maisie would eat it, so ordered some more, and she wouldn't touch it so after a few tries it went to the sanctuary.

All the others I have bought I have got the smallest possible order, but several different ones. I still have some left that may possibly get eaten but mostly she will only eat Felix, and Whiskas for a change, she is highly resistant to unfamiliar food.

I would say, get a few different ones, not too many of each, find out which ones will get eaten, then order again and hope they are still acceptable. You will probably want to get 2 or 3 different ones anyway and rotate them.

Re: hmmm dilemma

I am so popular with my cat-owning friends because i have an aladin's trove of 'unwanted' cat food which has been tried and tested on her Royal Fussiness and then distributed to make space for the new dietry experiments And yet our baby lab sees any cat food as a premium and would happily guzzle the lot if I wasn't bothered about her weight. Heyho - that's life...

Re: hmmm dilemma

Hi, Hope I can help.

We do a mixed case of Bozita. You can request how you wished it to be made up, and we have it in stock and can despatch same day for usually next day delivery, as we are based in the UK.
Good way to find out which flavours your cats like.

Cheers Fraz.

Re: hmmm dilemma

i bought 24 tins, animonda carny and smilla tuna.

after a bit the animonda wasn't getting eaten so mixed it with the smilla (which he loves) and he ate that. i didn't have the same amount of smilla though and mixed in some tuna tunks as my other order hasn't arrived yet.

just trial and error!!!
