Poor kitten

Been at the vets all morning, 1 of the kittens has got a broken leg after my wife stood on her early this morning.
Wife was really upset thinking the worst, however x-ray confirmed leg broken just below the ball joint.
In a way we were lucky it's the kitten we are keeping. vets say plenty of rest and weekly checks she won't need an op or anything

Re: Poor kitten

Oh jeez, poor kitten, and your poor wife--I'm sure she's feeling all kinds of guilty, but kittens are so underfoot. At least it's not as bad as it could have been. Give her lots of cuddles (your wife--and the kitten )

poor little mite. I'm sure she'll be running around again soon. Hope the OH stops feeling guilty as well as it is so easily done.

Re: Poor kitten

Poor baby It's so easily done - they're always under your feet. It seems to be a permanent cry in our house when we have kittens and my mum who's partially sighted, won't visit in case she treads on one.
Hope the kitten makes a good recovery and your wife stops feeling guilty

Re: Poor kitten

Your poor wife must be feeling terrible, but it is so easily done, even with big cats getting underfoot. Hopefully your kitten will learn to be careful around feet.

And of course, poor kitten too - hope he is soon bouncing round again.

Re: Poor kitten

Unfortunately it's a hazard of having kittens.

Hope the little mite (and your wife too for that matter) is feeling better soon.

Re: Poor kitten

Its a wonder I haven't done some serious damage to my kitten, I have caused her to do some spectacular 360 degree turns in between my legs though

I hope your OH and the kitten are ok.

Re: Poor kitten

Oh bless, I'm sure the kitten will mend really quickly at that age. Your poor wife, however, much you "ice skate" around the house they do always seem to manage to be under your foot when you take a step. Thank goodness the little ones are not allowed out or they'd be stood on the pavement playing chicken with all the pedestrians!!

Your poor wife. It is very hard to avoid little kitties. Times our new Boy has nearly had me down the stairs and we have only had him one week
