They like Grau!

I've just put down some grain free Grau and they love it! Practically hoovered up their bowls! New rotation is Macs, Grau, Petnatur, using up the Animonda Carny and Smilla I've got left and trying Bozita pate with them tomorrow. They don't seem to like AC and not happy with the news that Smilla have reduced the meat content!

Re: They like Grau!

Have just seen that the feeding rec for Grau for a 3-5kg cat is 210 - 400g - there's a pretty big difference between 210 and 400g! Anyone who feeds Grau - how much do you feed?

Re: They like Grau!

Personally I would put down what they want to eat as they are still kittens.

When I got my delivery I put a whole tin of Grau down - I threw a whole tin of Grau away.

Same for Smilla, AC, Bozita, Petnatur.

They deigned to eat a tiny weeny bit of the Macs, and the Ropocat - then refused it at the next meal, and ever since really

Until today they were eating all the Felix they could get - today, suddenly all 3 of them dont like Felix - they went onto Felix (as a last resort) coz after a few weeks they decided they didnt like Hi-Life

Not quite sure where to go next to be honest...

Re: They like Grau!

Oh poor you! Must be so frustrating!! They've only really turned their nose up at AC, so I consider myself lucky!

Yes, am keeping constant wet food down as they're still kittens, they're eating so much at the moment!

Ari loved Grau too! She ate the 200g can in two meals! Not very good for my credit card, though.

Re: They like Grau!

Weird request but if any of ye that has a camera handy and feeds grau grain free could ye take a photo of it, I'm undecided on whether to order some or not as it's a bit expensive if she doesn't like it. It's just to see the consistency of it as she awful picky about it, too hard and dry and she won't eat it (donated 4 or 5 tins of carny to a shelter as she point blank refused to touch it).

Re: They like Grau!

I don't know about the Grau grain free, but last time I used the regular one it was a fairly similar consistency as the AC, although much more like regular meat. It looked as if it would have been fine to pop some on a cracker for a snack for me!

Re: They like Grau!

The grain free Grau is pretty similar in consistency to the AC - yet kitties seem to prefer the Grau. It does look better than the AC though.

Just fed them Bozita reindeer pate for breakfast - that's gone down a treat as well!

Bye bye AC and Smilla (once I've run out), hello Grau and Bozita pate
