Pro-kolin

What's the correct dosage for 6 month old kittens? (one is 2.3kg and the other is 3.2kg). It only gives instructions for dogs on the packaging I've got - hope I've got the right one!

Oh no, do they have a runny bottom?

For cats/dogs under 5kg it is 2ml (which I think is a turn of that screw). For more info see here: Pro-Kolin+ probiotic paste for dogs - Protexin.

Hope they feel better soon.

PS: Yes, it only gives the instructions for dogs; well, cats aren't just small dogs aren't they? Hrumpf

No (thank goodness!), but as am going to be trying Grau and Bozita pate on them, want to be prepared! I remember what happens whenever they have Applaws dry (now banned from the house) - v smelly runny bums!

Thanks - that's really helpful, good to know I haven't bought the wrong thing! And yes, v annoying that they can't even be bothered to put 'dogs and cats'!

Re: Pro-kolin

The dosage my vet recommended is 1ml, which is one complete turn of the screw then squeeze like a syringe. I find it easier to administer by injecting it into the little 1ml syringe they gave me in the vet, then squirting that into their mouth half a mil at a time. My kittens are just under a kg so probably 2ml for yours.
