New recipe nature's menu now in p@h?

Have noticed the odd small box of nature's menu in p@h is starting to have the new recipe in.
Apparantly there's less sugar, not confirmed though.
Also - the packets are all a bland silver now so you can't tell which packet is what flavor.

The first packet I tried with this new packaging was buldging like a crisp packet on an airplane.. never a good sign.. opened it and it smelt of DEATH! Horrible. Meat inside was all green and rotten. Probably would have killed my monsters if they ate it...
Anyone else seen any bad batches since this new packaging?

I don't feed NM but I know they had a problem like this with one batch in the past, if I remember correctly the nozzle wasn't set up correctly meaning that the bags were being filled incorrectly leading to meat accross the seal line and hence many of the pouches didn't seal properly.

It isn't a problem unique to NM I regularly see 'blown' packs accross all the brands in supermarkets (I've even seen them with maggots coming out the pack). It's just one of those things unfortunately, take it back and ask to be refunded. I would also let NM know the batch number for their quality control purposes.

Good to hear that those new pouches are FINALLY coming on to the market but bleurgh about the blown pack! As Ali82 said, I would let them know.

I have never seen cat food in blown pouches before, but will certainly watch out for them!!!!

I know it happens to those microwave noodles sometimes though
