Re: good wet foods that are easily available ?
Grau is great quality and around 31, 41 or 51p per 100g based on your choice of tin (800g, 400g, 200g). Good meat to offal ratio, nice protein/moisture/fat.. have seen better carb ratings but this is probably due to the 1% of rice in the tin. The rice free tins have more offal in.
For the price, I think bozita is great. Decent meat content, no artificial junk, sugar free, decent taurine, Swedish standards. Animmonda I find questionable. Dead cheap at around 27p per 100g but you can tell it's poor quality compared to the above two. More offal for example. I find a mixture of frozen premade raw food, grau, bozita and the odd supermarket treat like chicken wings or a handful of raw meat, hearts, livers etc works out to be a nice cheap and convenient method. If you absolutely can't order online, try out Nature's menu from p@h. Some find it smells bad when your cat is done with it.. and it's around 50p per 100g, but it's decent quality (70% meat, 25% offal I believe). Pate style. Also hi-life is said to be alright and is easily available but i haven't tried it.

Re: good wet foods that are easily available ?
[QUOTE=anotheruser;1061765569]Why does this stop you ordering online? I work full-time and can still order online :S
To be honest it's much easier than buying supermarket brands. I have deliveries sent to work so I never miss them and don't have to go and pick them up ![]() I tend to avoid anything that requires courier delivery unless absolutely necessary. Delivery to where I work or my husband works is unfortunately not an option as neither place of work will accept delivery of personal packages. I work in a laboratory, so working from home is not possible either and on the odd day I have off I don't want to spend it waiting for a delivery. Given that we barely know our neighbours I wouldn't expect them to wait in either. Where we've had items that have ended up being courier delivered rather than by post as expected we've found couriers are unlikely to leave goods outside the house as they would be in full view of passersby and so usually it is dumped with the first person they find who will accept the package. I'd much rather just go to P@H at the weekend and stock up. |
