New DAF supplier
Just noticed they have a new supplier based in Weston super Mud, that will deliver to anywhere in mainland UK - Raw2Paw.
Would be interested to know if anyone plans on ordering anything from this company as I'm still not convinced that the DAF minces I've experienced are the norm, going on other users positive comments who bought from a different supplier to myself.

Re: New DAF supplier
Have you got a web address I'd like a look at that as not so far from me.

Re: New DAF supplier
I'm just constantly gobsmacked by the price, I spend £50 monthly with NI and get 10kg's worth of food - with DAF, it costs roughly £40 for double the amount (going on the most expensive packs). If I could find a supplier that didn't send me meat that smelt like it was rotting, I'd be very happy!

Re: New DAF supplier
Just running out of NI - so timing is good - will use other stuff until the delivery date - just having to remember whether you need to supplement DAF - the dog will have it too - will probably cut my bill in half! And I llie no plastic boxes - the waste of those even though we recycle is terrible.

Re: New DAF supplier
Dante, sorry, I do remember you posting a while back about your concerns re the meat but can't quite recall... did you bin the meat, have them replace it or did your cats eat it with no problem?
I had a similar issue with some raw over several consecutive deliveries (different brand, different supplier), couldn't quite come to terms with the very odd smell - not really a 'going off' smell but unplesant nonetheless - and I stopped using it. Pity, because I'd used it for years and the cats loved it. |
