who brushes their cats teeth successively? i tried it today, and caused one of Shadows milk teeth to fall out... wooops, although he was very well behaved and tolerant, Lightning however, yelped and cried like a baby before the brush went in his mouth lol

Re: teeth brushing

I've never managed to do this! Mind you, my lot are a nightmare for tablets too and anything like that, they even make a fuss about being Frontlined and try to run away!

Re: teeth brushing

I brush Merlinīs teeth from time to time. He loves bitting stuff, so I just play with him while he gives the brush a few bites and I try to reach diff angles.

Re: teeth brushing

If you can persuade them to regularly chew a raw chicken wing, that is a very effective way of keeping their teeth clean. And stress-free!

This is only true of cooked bones, these should never be given but you're ok with raw ones.

Re: teeth brushing

Yes, raw chicken wing bones are so soft that you can cut them with scissors. It's not much different to mouse bones, which they can eat with ease.

Of course, never let them have a cooked chicken bone. They are dry, brittle and dangerous.
