Buying medications online

Hi all

Our cat Biggles is doing ok since his diagnosis with HCM. I was wondering can anybody recommend a good online vet pharmacy in the UK. His present medications cost a fortune and i've seen some online pharmacies where they are much cheaper.

Re: Buying medications online

Hi

The two that i use are vet-medic.co.uk & petdrugsdispensary.co.uk

Have never had a problem with either. You will need to get a prescription from your vet, which they will charge you for, so it is worth checking if there is really a saving to be had.

Normal high street pharmacies can also fill the privite prescription if it is a human medication that has been prescribed (they very often are, its just if the dose is appropriate), so maybe worth checking costs there to.

Yes, they are. I ordered some flea treatment recently and amazed at quickly it arrived. Have used others like Petmeds in the past....good but much slower.

How can a normal high street pharmacy supply a prescription only medicine for a cat? I don't see how they can do this
