Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

I placed an order with Floyds Pfotenshop for Macs and Petnatur for the first time a few days ago and I have to say, although I was nervous about ordering from Germany, the service was great! The package arrived quicker than Zooplus orders and was packaged really well too

Re: Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

That's good to know, thanks. I've been comtemplating ordering some Macs recently since everytime I wish to order Animonda from Zooplus the beef is invariably out of stock. I've got one with a sensitivity to chicken so avoid this for this reason.

Can some tell me about the consistency of the Macs.....is is pate like Animonda and Bozita? Mine are very fond of Animonda and although not overly fussy won't touch Smilla for instance!

Yes - a pate just like Carny, and I actually prefer the smell of it. Kittens are gobbling it as I type - seems to be flavour of the month!

Re: Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

Thanks ladies. I've just had a quick look on the site and quite like the idea of 800g tins as well-four cats! Wondering about the 2% rice in some flavours for the same cat with the chicken sensitivity though he *appeared* to be OK on Grau other grains were definitely a problem....will give it a go though!

There are a couple of grain free varieties - I got the Beef & Turkey and the Duck, Turkey & Chicken ones

Re: Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

If you are looking for grain-free, chicken-free food (that would leave one or two mac flavours but even they have turkey) then a few other options are from these ranges:

ROPOCAT Sensitive Gold 400g günstig kaufen

and

Hochwertiges Katzenfutter kaufen = Petnatur

Just avoid any of those foods with "Huhn" or "Gefluegel (poultry) in it.

Re: Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

I've been thinking about placing an order with Floyds. I'm going over to Germany in May, think I will be doing some cat food shopping whilst I'm there (won't be able to resist ) I'll see what I can pick up, and if my boys like it before I place an order.

I'll probably come back with a boot load of cat food

Re: Floyds Pfotenshop - great!

I wonder if anyone has ever studied the general health of cats in Germany compared to cats in other countries where quality food isn't as readily available! Would be an interesting read! A bit like "The China Study" where the health of people in areas of China where meat and dairy isn't widely consumed was compared to the health of people in countries such as the US and UK where it is.
