cat with constant UTI
Does anyone have any experience of the above. My poor boy henry keeps getting cystitis, he has has four trips to the vet in as many weeks and once had to be sedated as he has a blockage. He was kept in and catheterised for two days. Every time he goes to the vet he has antibiotic injection and an anti infamatory med but it doesn't seem to be working. His food has been changed on the vets advice to one that helps to avoid
UTI but t doesn't seem to have made a difference either. Does anyone have any idea what else I could try?

Waterfall D-Mannose Alternative Cystitis Treatment, Kidney Infection Symptoms +44(0)1904 789559
I know lots of people with recurring UTI find this effective although have not had to use it myself. I think others on here use Cystease for their cats.
Is there a link with stress for your cat....most cases of Cystitis are idiopathic ie not due to bacterial infection and sensitive cats can be stressed by something as simple as the postman dropping a large package through the door.

My German vet friend swears by this stuff if the UTI isn't caused by crystals.

he is usually the most laid back ct, can't think of anything that might be stressing him out??? He is currently t the vet being catheterised again due to another blockage:

Your poor little man! Another blockage? Tracy, does your cat suffer from crystals? What food is he currently on? Is this wet or dry food?

Cystaid is a "natural" product containing glucosamine to help reline the bladder.
