Treacle is very drowsy today, although he seems fine when he's awake, and was playful this morning, but he's only eaten a very small amount. Could he just be having a delayed reaction to his neutering op (which also included a tooth extraction)? He was fine the first day and seemed fine yesterday, but maybe the anaesthetic has now fully worn off and left him feeling sore?

Meanwhile, Jumpy is his usual hungry, piggy self but has been advised by the vet to eat just boiled chicken for the next few days, until his poo stops being runny... which he has gobbled down several times, but then dived into a bowl of food intended for Treacle and had some of that too!!

Some vets give a painkilling injection pre or post op which would be effective for 24 hours or so. Could be this has worn off and he is feeling a bit sore from the tooth extraction.

Thanks, I thought it might be something like that. Jumpy actually stuck his nose against Treacle's mouth and pushed up his lip like he was trying to look at his mouth!! It looks ok where they extracted, but must feel sore I imagine. Poor Treacle, can everyone send him some hugs please?
