To vaccinate or not?

Pebbles is 3 and he's only had the kitten vaccinations. I got him when I was 13 and I don't know much about vaccinations, and I don't think my parents have ever regularly vaccinated cats in the past. I've heard some good and bad things about vaccinating, should he be vaccinated?

Re: To vaccinate or not?

I've not heard any bad things about the routine vaccinations, I know some other vaccinations (i.e. sometimes the US Rabies vaccine can have side-effects), but otherwise vaccinating is a good thing!! Does he go outside?

There are many differing opinions on regular vaccination, the only part that most people agree on is that the kitten vaccinations are given followed by the first booster 12 months later. My cats have always been indoor cats so although they are still at risk to a degree, they are not as vulnerable as outdoor cats.I have had Meeko's initial vaccinations done plus his first yearly booster but have not decided whether he will be done yearly or not.Have a look at this link to the FAB cat site.
