They love it, growl over who's licking my hand . It does work a treat though - and was only £4.49 from holland and barratt!
We are naughty fur-parents and give it to them when we need a night free from being pounced on by Hugo the heffalump - they sleep through to the alarm if we use it.

You said yo get this from Holland & Barrett's? In liquid format? I've got H&B across the road might nip in and have a look at lunchtime. Is this different from Valerian Compound drops?

Yep, good old Holland and Barratt! It's their own brand valerian compound in a bottle with a dropper so very easy to use but they do add caramel colour to the liquid or I would use it on their bedding rather than them ingest it but if it smells as bad as others say maybe that's a good thing!
I did get a bit of a funny look when I said why I needed the liquid not the tablets

I know how you feel, I was so sure I'd given mine too much at first, the effect was so profound - at a time they are usually tearing around the house at waist height they were curled up together on the sofa.
My kittens are just under 6 months but are big and I give them one drop from the pipette each - they very readily lick it from the top of my hand - must taste nicer than it smells!
If I give it to them after eating it seems to take longer to work - maybe just over an hour but if they've not eaten it works in about half an hour. I would give her some tonight or over the weekend and measure how long it takes her to settle and how long it lasts and increase the amount if you need to.

Brilliant, thank you so much for your advice. I will have a trial run over the weekend, maybe give big boy Percy some, too even though he never seems to struggle to relax if there's something soft to sleep on within reach ...
I will report back how things went.

Certainly FELIWAY.We use it for our little cat ,thats a bag of nerves.It calms her down for the 16hr trip by car to France.

We sell those anxiety drops where I work. A couple of dog owners swear by them.
