jabs ?

Hello :-D I just thought I would ask before I phone my vets about what jab's my indoor cat needs . He's not had any jab's from when he was picked up as a kitten one and a half years ago when he had flu and F,I,E jab's .I'm only asking as I don't really want him to have things he doesn't need just so that can make money. thank you :-)

Re: jabs ?

Personally, I would vaccinate for all but leukemia until he is at least 3 because you can bring the viruses for the others in on your clothing and shoes. Leukemia is more often transmitted via bodily fluids or bites. After 3 years old they may have built up a good lifetimes worth of immunity, and unless you need to use a cattery you may not need to vaccinate.

Thank you, that was my thoughts, he wouldn't ever go to a cattery as i have my mum on hand if i need , he does go in the garden now and then . Thank you for your reply
