Pheebs will become famous soon enough
Am I over-feeding her?

Pheebs is now 10 months old. For a long time she wasn't a big eater and didn't seem all that interested in food. But in the last two months or so she has been hoovering it up and she's grown hugely. She now weighs 10 lbs!

The other day, somone asked me if she was pregnant! She has chunked up a bit around the middle, it's true, but her belly doesn't hang down. She has turned into quite a "cobby" cat.

She eats about 300g of wet a day (Animonda Carny or HiLife) and a handful of Applaws dry last thing at night. Do you think this is too much?

Hi Pheebs I will be following this thread with interest as Max has a big belly and is 5.7kg. I struggle as he has been on steroids for his asthma. Sorry I can't help.

If she hasn't been eating much up until recently, to be honest I would treat it as a growth spurt

Yes, I think it could be as she has suddenly got so much bigger and she seems to be getting bigger every day.

I love watching her grow.
