Re: how much £

I do exactly that (though they have raw at least 4 times a week as well) although I haven't a clue how much it costs I'm afraid, my maths is terrible

Re: how much £

how many cats do you have. I feed animonda and smilla along with some dried food.

Mine eat between a tin and a tin and a half a day depending on the flavour (they adore animonda meat cocktail) but aren't too keen on all the smilla fish flavours some of which I have to mix with animonda fish (which isn't complete) to get them to eat it.

So say 9 tins a week plus about 40g dried a day sometimes a bit more if bowls are cleared

I think with the mixed savings packs from zooplus and buying dried in bulk I pay about £10.50 a week for 2 cats.

fish4cats mainly with a bit of orijen or acana. I try not to feed one food exclusively as it would be such a nightmare if they ever stopped making the food.

I buy the 7.5kg bags of fish4cats which isn't the biggest bag but I don't feed enough of it and would worry it would go off if I bought the 15kg bag.

Ideally I wouldn't feed it at all but Boo is a massive kibble junky. There is a pet shop near me that sells orijen and can order me in acana that is slightly cheaper than zooplus so I'm very lucky in respect of that.

Re: how much £

well I recokon my 4 cats who eat Grau, Bozita and Smilla cost about £25 pw in food. The Grau is considerably more expensive though than Animonda/Bozita & Smilla

Grau is more expensive. Boo didn't take to regular Grau at all. Think it's because he's otherwise grain free. I tried the grain free but that really is quite expensive and they liked it as much as they liked smilla (ok but didn't go nuts for it). It's a shame because it's a good food.

Smilla really is a decent price but the boys just don't like the texture as much as they like animonda.

Re: how much £

funny mine didn't like animonda and I ended giving away loads to CP. {They seemed to like at first and then refused to eat it!}. That said when I first started feeding Grau/Macs/Tiger I would put that down for Ginger and Bozita [in jelly] for the rest as the others wouldn't touch the pate type foods. Now they all scoff the Grau/Macs/Tiger as well so not sure whether to have another go at the animonda.

Re: how much £

I find very difficult to calculate as we rotate differently priced brands wet (Animonda and Bozita paté and canned) and dry (Orijen and Acana) I buy mostly on sale, and I also have a large stock that can last a couple of months... but I know that I've never paid more than 35cents/100g on wet so it probably stays around €1 on wet, plus maximum 30g of dry (30cents) per day. It would be around £1 per day roughly.
