This (crushed up Thrive) works on Oscar who can be a bit fussy at times. Have you actually tried Thrive? All the cats I know (more than 10 different ones!) absolutely go nuts for them!

That, along with brand and flavour rotation to prevent boredom, works for our three.

Really hard to say whether they have had too much variation of good quality food or not enough. Those cat sticks; can they be smashed to pieces and the dust/bits be used to sprinkle on the food?

PS: I really wish some breeders would learn a little more about responsible feeding of kittens and cats. Dry food and homecooked food, eh? Lovely.
i just mixed some cooked chicken with their cat food and they have been eating for about 10 min.. obviously they are trying to get the chicken out but in the meantime they are nibbling on their proper food
notsure likes this.

Well it's just chicken (or shrimp, liver, beef, tuna etc depending on which variety you buy) which has been freeze dried so it's got nothing horrible in it that your cat's shouldn't be having but it doesn't contain all the balanced nutrients cats require in their diet. So, yes, it's good as a treat.

There's also a cheaper P@H version which also crumbles well onto complete wet food to tempt fussy eaters

Great, must get that for mine - he often likes to have Whiskas Crunch sprinkled on his wet food, but of course too much gives him smelly poos - I'm sure Thrive and similar would be much better, and he'd enjoy it too! Loves anything he can crunch!!
