There's the problem - you made the mistake of stocking up

Judging from anadotal evidence from posts on here, the moment you stock up on something is the most likely time your cat is going to decide they don't like it anymore.

As others have said, I would read through the link buffie posted above, and then add a few other brands into the mix if you can to add some more variety. As one poster put it in another thread on a similar topic, you would soon get bored eating the same food for every meal over and over. In time, you'll probably find that the fussy cat will decide they like it again, if not, at least your other cat still does.

Re: Are my two cats being fussy?

I would take their fussiness re the FF as a blessing in disguise - perfect timing to get them to eat much better food that doesn't need to cost as much.

you say they scratched around the food bowl is it like they are trying to cover it? Tabby would do this when we first got her, and yes we were over feeding her, now they get a pouch between them first thing, dinner time again the same, and at night time I give them a few dreamies cat biscuits I dont know what they put into them but they love them.
at bed time they have a bit out of a pouch each and shut in the kitchen.

these two will not go near Felix, asda s own or whiskers we have tried the lot, these 2 have kitekat pouches and a bit of royal cannin kibble but that's only if we are going out the house,

try giving them less food cats will not overeat kitten will, but bigger cats will not,

these two now will come up to us meowing or be very attentive over us like a rash cannot settle,(especially Chloe) until we get up and give them some food its better to not over-face them or they will leave the lot
I don't know how old your kittens are, but if I tried to give my 2 only 3 pouches a day between them - they would think their throats had been cut. That being said, all cats are different, and it may be all yours want - although personally I'd be feeding them as much as they wanted.

My 2 are currently eating 2-2.5 tetra packs of Bozita between them spread over 4-5 meals (so 740-925g over the course of the day between them). They are both grazers, so eat a bit then leave it and come back for more...letting me know if their bowls are empty which is rare apart from during their afternoon nap (they have a routine where they nap for 4-6 hours after lunch).

Currently I'm putting out 1/2 a tetra pack between them 4-5 times a day, and that seems to be enough that they are satisfied, without much wastage if that gets eaten quickly they get more so that there is some leftovers to graze on. About 6 weeks or so ago they were only eating half that, but then they seemed to hit a growth spurt and overnight their appetites increased, and therefore so did the amount of food they were fed (one day they were happy with 1.5 tetra's the next they had finished off 1 by 11am).
