So as some of you know, I´m still trying to get Merlin to eat better. I found a friend in USA WHO HAS SENT ME 1 TIN EACH OF:
- Trader Joe
- Natural Balance
- Wellness
- Natural Choice
- Nature´s Variety
- Innova

At the moment he is on Gourmet a la Carte, Sechir, Applaws and Sheba (morning and night) and RC inbetween. I just got Orijen and with my vets help will give him like 4 biscuits a day. I hope he accepts the changes but for now I mixed a bit os Innova with his Sheba tuna, he ate a bit and walked away

My cats love their wet food, but really hate Innova, if that makes you feel any better?

Does he like pate or chunks? Because if he likes chunkier food, you might want to give Weruva or TikiCat a try. Both are from thailand, I believe, and some of the fishy varieties in particular are super chunky. The chicken and beef are shredded.

He is more of shredded food. I have tried like 20 varieties on him. It is frustrating because here in Spain, you get Gourmet a la Carte, Gourmet, Sheba, Whiskas and Felix (plus one or two supermarket brands). So people here feel feeding Gourmet is giving the best.

That is frustrating. Try the Weruva if you can order it from somewhere. All the chicken flavors (Grandma's Chicken Soup, Nine Liver, and Funky Chunky) and the beef (Steak Frites) are shredded. My little beasties loved the flavors when they were in the variety pack, so I ordered an entire case of the Nine Liver and Funky Chunky. Now they pick at it. I guess when it was mostly fish and shellfish flavors, chicken was a novelty; now it's boring. Sigh

Yes indeed, the cheeky devils.

Luckily the dogs like to clean up the uneaten cat food, but still.....if they liked it last week, what's different about it today? Other than that there's about 20 cans of it in the cupboard!

I once had 90 something cans he wanted nothing to do with (after spending 50 euros on shipping from USA). Still that is how I met the cat shelter I volunteer in.
