hey all my kitten is 4 and a half months old and shes my 1st eva cat my bf got her me for xmas when she was a bit younger and i decided 2 keep her asa house cat but im not sure when i shud start worming her and how many times a year and plus how many times shud i flea her ???? and if ne1 else has ne kitten tips ect they wud like 2 share i wud b gr8full im sorta learning as i go along wiv her ive been ther from day 1 from when her mum was pregnant till birth till now so shes very special to me

the vet will be able to tell you - but as she hasn't been wormed before - 1 now and another in 4 weeks then every 3 months until about a year then every 6 months - flea treatment is recommended every month but I do mine about every 3 in the winter and every 6 weeks in the sumer.

I think with a 4 month old kitten you have to worm and flea them every two weeks until they are over 6 months. It normally says on the packaging. If you are unsure consult with a vet.

Don't use off the shelf stuff it doesn't work well - get it from the vets - vets normally use Milebex and that will be one now and one in 4 weeks and then the kitten will be nearly six months anyway.
