Your guess is as good as mine but it could just be that her over-active bladder and diarrhoea are not at all related to the raw lamb but rather to too many other treats etc etc.
She didn't have any treats yesterday or today so it can't be that, so the only other thing that may have upset her stomach was the raw lamb steak.

You're right I shouldn't let this one experience put me off trying her on raw food. I am going to try and feed her raw pork steak (No bones it them) tomorrow as she has turned her nose up at chicken, duck, pheasant, turkey and beef.

Can I ask should I feed her the fat as well? Also what amount should I feed her as she is 4.1kg and the vet said I need to try and get her back down to her ideal weight of 3.5kg as she has fatty sacks?

What else contained the steak? What kind of salt? Have you also used additives like onion for a flavour?

We don't give out cats thermally prepared meat, or if it ever is prepared especially for them, we don't use flavours that we'd normally add to our (human) recipes.

As for fat, it is necessary in a cat's diet. But we mix the fat of the chicken skin with the rest of the meat.

Oooooh, where is Hobbs? I want to boast a little: FOR THREE DAYS MY CATS HAVE ACCEPTED MINCED CHICKEN BONES. I'm so happy! No more calcium carbonate. Thank you, thank you, thank you Hobbs. I love you for everything you are!

Sorry, I must come back with an apology, but in my mind (I'm not from UK, so I may have misinterpreted this), STEAK means a meat cooked in the oven. How raw can that be? That's why all my questiosn related to other ingredients.

What I defo know is that lamb is not digested as nicely as other meats. Maybe that's a clue. Too much if it could be another. One more clue is the source of the meat. Did you wash it in advance (sure, it doesn't assure every caution measure has been taken, just by washing). Was it chopped/minced? I hope it's only an indigestion. Watch the cat during the next days.

Maybe it's not something related to food, maybe your cat tasted something else in your home, a plant, the fir tree, a forbidden substance?

Hi there, Sorry that there was a miss understood the steak issue. The lamb steak was raw meat not cooked. It was washed and served cut into pieces not minced. It did turn out it was the lamb as her stomach and bladder have settled down. She is back on forum. Bless her.
