Complete Cat food?

My mate has a 5 month old British Short Hair kitten who is on a mixed diet of Animonda, Bozita and Classic Cat, however her OH is now home and the smell of the wet food is making him physically sick she has to put the cat onto complete dry food as this doesn't affect her OH but isn't sure which is the best to use.

Re: Complete Cat food?

Hey, far from me to judge! She has to do what is best for her in her situation.

To me wet cat food doesn't smell nasty but that's me - the raw I feed at the mom has tripe in it and that makes me sick to my stomach - but I still feed it. Hold my breath, dole it out and leave the room. But if hubby complained massively I might change it. It's her choice not mine.

Re: Complete Cat food?

I actually find Applaws dry (which I used to feed) smell worse than wet food, and the smell just lingers on my hands (even after thorough washing with hand soap!) after I grabbed a handful.
spid likes this.

Re: Complete Cat food?

I think the cheap wet foods stink... I reckon because they are only 4% meat the nasty manufacturers add stinky smell to make it appealing.

My pair have feline Fayre wet and it doesn't smell bad at all, its like normal foos

It's 4% flavour meat - all cat food has more meat than that, they just don't tell you WHAT animal or WHICH part of the animal it came from.

Certain wet cat food smells like Princes tinned ham to me.
