I agree.
Think a visit to the vets is in order for this little one.
Good Luck & Keep us updated.

Thought it's about time for an update on kitkat.

He's a load better now, back to his normal hyper self! I didn't manage to get him back to the vets yet since work has been chaotic in the run up to Xmas, but I stopped his antibiotics a few nights ago along with the eye drops. He'd been on them for about 2weeks.

Still not been able to load any pics yet, sorry!

I've got a question though,

When kitkat is on my lap and I've been stroking him for a while, he curls up or moves alot closer to me and starts liking/sucking his fur on his side while purring very loudly and keeps opening and closing his paws/claws as if he's in a trance (only way to describe it LOL!) because I can move him, carry him or put him in his bed and he'd still be licking/sucking his fur!

Does anyone know what this could be? Is it a comfort thing? It's always his side/tummy and his fur always ends up soaking!!

Thnx for any help in advance!
Saw this post after posting my reply.
I should start reading full threads..lol!
Glad you got the little un to the vet and things are picking up.

I would say with reagrds to your question it is a comfort thing pickles does the same.

Good Luck
Xxx

Question Re: 9wk old kitten has swollen red eye

hey again everyone, and a happy new year to u all!

I don't wanna bug u all again but it's related to kitkat with the licking his fur till it's soaking thing.

I've noticed that the areas where he does this have lightened in colour. They've went a chestnut brown colour (which looks gorgeous btw!) but is this a serious thing or maybe his fur is getting lighter? (he's an indoor cat incase ppl ask about moulting, which I've noticed btw!).

Any help would b gr8! Thnx!

Xx
