Question Injection questions

We had Jet from CP back in March last year, we had to take him for his 2nd jab on 17th March.

We had Lilly again from CP in May and we took her for her 2nd jab on 20th May.

They are now both due for their one booster jab each this year. Will I be ok to move Lilly's jab forward to tie up with Jet having his jab and only going to the vets in one fell swoop instead of two visits.

Any thoughts

Thanks x

Re: Injection questions

Yes it will and it's actually of benefit to you if you take them both a bit early. As long as they've both had a total of three jabs (initial two plus one booster) within twelve months then you will never need to start the whole course again even if you're late with subsequent boosters.

The exact wording from the Feline Advisory Bureau advice to catteries is -
Quote:
If a cat has had a primary vaccination course
(minimum of two injections) followed by a first booster
within 12 months, it only needs a single booster
injection irrespective of the length of time since the last
injection.
