FIV Kitten

Found feral kitten in Aug. Found she was FIV. But have completely fallen in love with this (Sassy) kitten and want to hear from others with FIV kittens. Please let me hear from you.

Re: FIV Kitten

Hiya and welcome
I had never heard of FIV until i just saw your thread and then googled it. It seems they can go on to enjoy a normal lifespan with no apparent health problems resulting from the virus.

Re: FIV Kitten

Hi and welcome

I had a FIV cat a feral boy that adopted me well us my then unneutured mogs brought himhome and he never left we had 11 wonderful years together he would however fight for supremecy in the neighbourhood which wasnt a problem untila family with a pedigree manx turned up which they let out world war 3 erupted and I felt it the responsible thing to do given the fight to advise the manx owners of his condition his crumpled body was left on my doorstep 4 days later with a note given his condition it was for the best I was horrified kept my other cats in and moved!!! so keep him in or dont let on whatever occurs and enjoy your time together
