Hi Life pouches for kittens

Hi

I have seen some of the Hi Life pouches in a shop and wanted to give them a try for our two kittens without having to get them delivered. The only thing was I couldn't see any that mentioned kittens on the box.

Would it be ok if I tried these or do they need the specific kitten food.

Thanks
Kathryn

Re: Hi Life pouches for kittens

Hi kathryn as far as im aware (seem to remember reading it somewhere!) that wet adult food is fine not entirely sure if there are a difference in the added vitimins or minerals but im sure someone who knows their stuff will be along to advise better than me! btw i feed mine mostly adult natures menu (they prefer the mix up of flavours rather than the just chicken kitten one) and adult Hi life along side Encore dry food and my boys are thriving, they have both just been for the chop and microchip at vets in the week and he commented on what good condition they where in (weight, eyes, coat ect) so must be agreeing with them

Hi-Life adult is fine to give to kittens. By the time mine leave at 13 weeks they are eating kitten or adult Hi-Life quite happily You get more variety in the adult ones - kitten ones are just chicken based

Re: Hi Life pouches for kittens

I found Morrisons to be the cheapest for HiLife, online or retail. My boys had (and still occasionally get) HiLife Kitten/Junior pouches. They got down to about £4 a box a while back, so I bought a load

Re: Hi Life pouches for kittens

I bought some at the weekend from Home Bargains, it says Hi Life Essential on the box and bought Tuna and Chicken ones.

Gave them half a pouch each to see if they would eat it and it went straight down. I also bought some of the Hi Life Completely Soft and Tender in Chicken for them to try.

HiLife Chicken is one of the few flavours my kitten loves, and he has the adult one! He doesn't like mushy food as he prefers to bite
