Re: Kitty Litter help
I'd recoomend Kitty Soft, from R & L Pet Products R & L Pet Products - cats, breeders, shows, litter, food, and accessories.
it may not be on their website - wasn't last time I looked, but you can phone through with an order.
Yesterdays News (also from R & L) is pretty good too, and similar, but the Kitty Soft is a little softer and does not break down so much when wet. I have tried numerous other litters and never found anythign I like as much as the recycled paper ones.

For a couple of years now I have been buying Morrison's recycled paper cat litter. It wasn't perfect (for instance it didn't clump), but it did tick other boxes. The main thing I liked about it was that it didn't contain clay (a big 'no, no' for me), was nice and light so easy to carry and dispose of, was soft on their feet and, more importantly, wasn't dusty at all (having had an asthmatic cat I became very aware of the dust certain litters kick up).
But, as is the way with me, when I find something I'm happy with they inevitably change it. Firstly the price had shot up, but more frustratingly, the bags have got so much heavier and I don't know what they have done to the litter but the worst thing is that it has become too dusty - when I pour the litter out there is almost a mushroom cloud of dust sitting over it!
So, I just going to have to change litters. I was wondering if people could recommend me a good one to use?
I'm looking for something similar to how the litter used to be. The main thing is that it can not contain clay and be as dust free as possible. The other things I would ideally like is that it is made from materials that are either very natural or at least don't have too many possible chemicals in it, if you get what I mean (for example I read somewhere that one supermarket chain did recycled paper litter that had clay as a hidden ingredient). I would also like it to be soft on their feet - although that's not the deciding factor.
So, if you have managed to read this without falling asleep, can anyone recommend something that might suit my two?
