Re: Developed Cat Allergy please help!

Sadly it is my alot of people in the household, who has the bad allergies. And because Mishmish loves to go to there rooms because its the highest level in the house. Im very worried about them because they sneezes alot and has the running nose and everything. Some of my family members are asthmatic.

Im tempted to get this spray to see if it just dust and trial and error out. Is there any spray that keeps mishmish the cat, off the bed or something that anyone can advise me?

That spray deals with dust mites - nothing to do with cats - so it might help your family if they are allergic to dust mites but won't help their cat allergy so it mght help.

The only way to keep a cat off the bed is to close the door to the room

I can't understand why anyone would rehome a cat just because it made them sneeze. Mine make me sneeze! The only way I would do that is if they caused such severe asthma that I was wheezing every day, unable to breathe!

I am allergic to cats, but it is true that you develop a resistance. I really noticed it when I was away at uni and when I returned home to my parents' cats I reacted really badly, these were cats I had previously lived with for years relatively symptom-free!
If you live with the cats you definitely build up resistance and the symptoms become less noticeable, although I do take antihistamines all year round to control my eczema and allergies, it's a small price to pay for having my lovely boys!

I've definitely built up a resistance to the flea bites! On the rare occasions I've been bitten in recent years, it was nowhere near as bad as when I was a teenager. I think it's a lot worse for kids as their skin is so sensitive.
