Earmites

I wormed and fleaded my two kittens on Sunday using Advocate that the vet had perscribed. She also said they had earmites and that the Advocate would clear this also. But having looked at Max's ears earlier I noticed he still has dark specks in his ears whereas Cleo hasn't. Are these earmites? if so, shouldn't these have gone by now? Any advice would be appreciated

Could just be a little wax hun but if you're worried then pop kitten back to vets and they'll tell you if they're still there or not xx
