Re: cat walking funny?
hi, yes she goes out, she has been out since this morning and was sat waiting for me to get home, she doesnt tend to go out the garden and we are quite far from any traffic as i did think maybe a car, should i be demanding my vet see's her tonight? they spoke to me as if i was stupid when i called as they said if shes not in pain then it cant be hurting her
shes a very good tempered cat so im sort of scared incase shes just hiding pain well, but dont want to sound like a crazy cat lady on phone to vets..lol x |

Re: cat walking funny?
her tail seems fine and is moving as normal, it just seems to be her hip joint seems weak somhow, i told that to the vets and they said if shes walking she could wait till monday, the receptionist wasnt any help so was thinking of calling and seeing if i can talk direct to the vet, she seems fine in every other way apart from not walking correctly, there are alot of high trees around us so thinking she may have climbed one and possibly fallen, ive asked around at next doors but they havent seen her all day. shes about 13 months old x

Re: cat walking funny?
I am no expert, but she doesnt sound too bad, perhaps a strain. You will have to decide if you think you need to get her to the vets, as we cant see her!!
Are the vets not open tomorrow if you are worried? I would try and keep her indoors tonight at least. |
