mixing brands cant lead to fussiness - they will eat each! ok, gali only eats good on rotation with f***x or w****ers - but thats less fussy than only one!

i know someone with a brand loyal cat.....then local supermarket stopped stocking it - nightmare!

Totally agree.Anyone who has a fussy cat will know that sinking feeling when the food that their little angel loves most in the world has that banner "new improved recipe"you know that thats it being ignored, this is one case where variety definitely is the spice of life

Re: foooooood grrrrr

Ours are fussy as anything and even with junk food, its a battle to try and get them off dry food, they turn their nose up at all the good stuff, so am just happy to see them eat any wet food - if its got fish in it - dont even bother putting that put for them
MCWillow and Treaclesmum like this.

Kinley, the only thing that I would add to what other people have already said is that you should make yourself knowledgeable about cat nutrition so that next time someone tells you something like that store manager (with a nutrition course behind her belt) you can decide whether or not to believe that person. Otherwise you are going to end up like a push-me-pull-me depending on who you talk to.

In addition to the book already mentioned, here are some links:

Feeding Your Cat: Know the Basics of Feline Nutrition :: healthy cat diet, making cat food, litter box, cat food, cat nutrition, cat urinary tract health

Just like Treacle - he did love salmon flavours until he started having dry Applaws - now he will NOT eat wet at all it seems......
