Female Cat - spayed

Hi all!

My 1 year old baby Penny is still at the vets She was spayed this morning and is apparently still bleeding. The wont let her home tonight.

I'm really scared, has anyone experienced this before?

(((hugs))) I have heard of it in a couple of boys, but not in a girl. The boys were fine after a stay in the vets overnight, and never looked back

Just catching up. I'm sorry to hear about your little girl but sounds like you have had your mind put to rest thank goodness. Fingers crossed she will be well enough to come home tomorrow so you can then spoil her!

Re: Female Cat - spayed

Oh I'm sorry to hear this. I hope she will be ok. I've never had any problems with mine being spayed but it's always a worry when they go to the vets. Hope Penny is alright and fit to come home in the morning. ((()))

Re: Female Cat - spayed

relieved to read that Penny is better this morning .. .vets like to be ever so careful when it comes to their patients and will keep an animal in the hospital for observation if there is the slightest concern just to ensure that it is nothing more than routine. Looking forward to reading some more (good) news later on.

Sending best purrs and (((((cyber hugs)))))
