Kobis with Pet plan, I think they cover for accident from day one, but I have a feeling for illness it is still the 14 days before you can claim and any illness your pet has within that time would not be paid out on. I think too that they will put an exemption as well for that type of illness is something does occur.
They do cover dental not just dental caused by accidents. It is subject to having a yearly dental check with your vet though.

Whatever you get though, make sure its life long or life time cover. Some look cheap but only cover an illness or accident from the date it happened for a year. If that type of illnesss re-occurs, you get late complications or the dog gets something that needs life long testing and medication they you have had it after 12mths and cant claim.
Also be careful of ones that give you an amount per illness or injury and although there is no time limit, once you have you used the total maximum amount up for that type of illness or an injury then again they wont pay out anymore. So you can find you still have treatment to go and no money left.
There are a few that do amount per illness or injury and it is true life cover
which means the total amount will be re-instated each year in full as long as you re-new no matter what you have claimed the year before.

One good way perhaps is to ask your vet if they accept direct payment and if they do what companies, that usually a good indication who pays out. It also means that you only have to pay the excess and the vets will claim the rest.
