Question Furballs!!!!

I'm asking this question on behalf of my work colleague.

She has a couple of young Birmans - 1yo & 7 mths - but her oldest one keeps yakking up a big furball every couple of weeks. She grooms them regularly but the eldest also likes to groom the baby so this is not helping.

She currently feeds 'rubbish that will not be named' but IS now working in some Smilla and is looking to move onto better foods permanently in the very foreseeable future.

Can anyone recomend anything for the furball problem? It's not something I've ever had an issue with, in any of mine, so I can't help her. I said I would ask all the lovely, knowledgeable people that I know and see what you all advise.

So please advise.....

Thank you in advance for your input.

Re: Furballs!!!!

Meeko being a hairy sod has been known to return his lunch with a furball usually in the middle of the duvet .I use this M&C Defurr-Um Plus Hairball Paste 70gm which does seem to help. There are a few different ones available, but this one Meeko will actually lick of your fingers .The hope is that he does it quickly as the heat from fingers tends to make it more fluid and it can and does make a sticky mess
MoggyBaby and welshjet like this.

Re: Furballs!!!!

my two have had furball troubles but i seem to have solved it with furball treats. I use M&C 'healthy bites-hairball remedy' they have the same ingredients as the above mentioned paste but in a crunchy chicken flavour treat which my boys seem to prefer
