The vet also told me on the last visit in October there is nothing wrong with feeding cats dry food as not all cats eat wet food plus some of the wet food out there has more grain in it than the dry food. I am not entering into this debate over wet food is better than dry food as it is silly. My cat will not eat wet food and only wastes it which at the end of the day has cost me alot of money trying to find out if she will eat wet food. All cats are different.
Your decision as long as it is informed but I wouldn't call the debate re dry food "silly".

Just a thought---have you tried her on raw at all? Some cats seem to tolerate it better than wet (as no additives at all), but some have issues with texture. You can try mincing up a bit of chicken breast, or a shrimp (I always freeze them first for a few days to make sure any parasites are dead)--just see what she does with it. Mine are slowly warming to it, but they're all different, both from one another and from day to day. But the more I offer, the warmer they seem about it. And I'm not out anything if I've sliced off a bit of chicken for them and they don't eat it (of course, the dogs always will if they won't, but even without dogs, I haven't wasted so much I'm irritated).

If it turns out she likes raw, then there are places that pre-do a balanced diet that makes it super easy to feed. I'm not in the UK, so I'm not entirely sure of the names, but someone else can certainly help out there---I want to say Darlings is one of them. Help anyone?

Thank you for the suggestion about feeding my cat raw meat. I certainly look into this. Not sure though about feeding chicken as there have been a couple of cases of avian flu in the UK in cats and them dying from it. I will certainly look into the other meat options but no bird products for the reason mentioned.

Hmm, I wasn't aware of that, but then again, I'm not in the UK. I know others on here have mentioned feeding chicken. Again, perhaps someone else can speak to this better.
