Re: miley is still at the vets really poorly

Just another little update!

Mileys blood test results came back today, she is NEGATIVE!!! whoop whoop!!

This means she is more than likely suffering from a spinal injury which i am going to the vets tonight for her to have a check over and discuss some options with the vet! Im so happy, she is far from better but the improvement is fantastic.

She does keep being sick though, which is worrying, obviously i will speak to the vet tonight but does anyone know what it could be, its not really sick, its just like white frothy sick with a few whole biscuits in each bit of sick, it has happened 3 times now, i just wondered if anyone had any experience of this??

Thanks everyone x x x

Re: miley is still at the vets really poorly

I am glad that the tests have come back neg and I hope that she makes a speedy recovery.

As for the vomiting, is she on any medication that could be making her sick? Mine are sometimes sick if they have hairballs or if they have eaten too quickly.

I really hope she gets better soon

Yes, she just finished her course of antibiotics yesterday and she is having a small dose of Metacam, so it could be just all too much for her, bless her!!

it's good news all her tests are negative - that must be a huge weight off your mind. If its an injury then hopefully a couple more weeks recovery will see her back to her oldself.

Cats can be sick really easily, and she has had a right time of it bless her. Metacam can make them sicky sometimes, but as it is anti inflammatory she will need it for her injury. If she has bruised her spine, the metacam will take the pain away and lessen the swelling so it can heal.
Mention it to the vet, they might be able to give her something to settle her tum.
