Another good cheap food?

I'm currently feeding Smilla, Bozita and Animonda Carny but they seem to have gone off the Bozita. Putting in another zooplus order tomorrow so can anyone recommend another good cheap food?

Re: Another good cheap food?

My boys like the (grain free) Butchers Choice from the supermarket - I rotate continually between Smilia, Bozita, Grau (grain free) & Schmusy. But they like the Butchers Choice and it makes a good "backup" if I need to buy locally.

Just tried my boys on Butchers Classics from Tesco and they seem to enjoy it

What are the ingredients like? Does it have added sugar or salt? Thanks.

Re: Another good cheap food?

Well, my two started to get bad tums on Bozita so I stopped feeding it to them. I haven't substituted it with anything. It's not essential for them to have more than two brands.

I do given them raw chicken and beef a few times a week as well, though.

Re: Another good cheap food?

I just ordered some different flavours. Got some tins of bozita in the hope they'll take to that as they just aren't liking the pate stuff any more although will eat it if I don't put anything else down and they are hungry enough. Unfortunately they've had to have the pate both last night and this morning as I don't have any AC or Smilla left but my order should be here today

I also ordered some Smilla fish pots and AC fish saucers as well as the normal AC and Smilla I usually get to give them a bit more variety. Just hope they like the ones they haven't had before.

Re: Another good cheap food?

I know the pate ones are supposed to have a higher meat content but the meat/jelly tetrapaks definitely seem the most popular in this house. They'll eat the pate ones fairly enthusiatically but the jelly ones get guzzled in one go! I think it's all down to the needing variety thing - when I first ordered Bozita I only ordered pate and they therefore had the same flavour every other day. Now I've got more than 10 flavours to rotate.

Re: Another good cheap food?

Yeah, the pate ones went down a treat when I first got them but will see how the tins go down. Only ordered 12 so will order more next month if they like them.

Not looking forward to finding a home for 90 tins of food when I get home though!
